On May 17, 2021, Mr. E Xuewen, Secretary-General of the Alliance of China-Thailand Universities (ACTU), visited Jiangsu University and met with Prof. Yan Xiaohong, President of Jiangsu University and Co-Chair of ACTU.

Mr. E reported and briefed Prof. Yan about the latest work of ACTU Secretariat and its support to assist Jiangsu University for organizing the 3rd Forum on China-Thailand Higher Education Cooperation during the 2021 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week (CAECW) which is scheduled to be held around end of August this year in Guiyang. The Forum is expected to be an important opportunity for ACTU members to share and discuss collaboration initiatives for future development. 

Prof. Yan warmly welcomed Mr. E and introduced the university’s internationalization and international exchanges and cooperation with Thailand. As per the upcoming event in Guiyang, Prof. Yan said that the university will be in full support to the preparation and organization of the event so as to strengthen and improve the existing collaboration with Thai universities and bring it to an even higher level.
